Mrs. Looney was my second grade teacher at Johns Creek. We remember those that impact our lives in significant ways, and Mrs. Looney was one of those individuals. She loved teaching and she loved those around her. She gave to her community as much or more than her community gave to her. She would still ask about me whenever she saw my mom...she truly loved her students, and we loved her. My thoughts are with the entire family during this difficult time. I am very sorry I could not be there for the memorial service to celebrate her life. She will be missed by all. My sincere condolences.

Mrs. Looney was my second grade teacher at Kimper. She taught me the love of reading and always believed in me. She would hug me so tight and tell me how much she loved me and how proud she was of me especially when I got my business bachelors degree. My regret now it I graduate next Friday with my MBA without her knowing. I loved her so much. She made such a difference in her students lives. The true definition of what a teacher should be.
