Billy Reed Kinney

Billy Reed Kinney, age 81, of Pikeville, KY., passed from this life, Monday, December 14, 2020. Billy was born to the late Harry and Goldie “Robinson” Kinney, January 1, 1939, in Pikeville, KY.

Billy was preceded in death by his daughter, Terrie Lynn Kinney; son, Austin Allen; sisters, Lois Hall, Betty Raines and Bobbie Anders, brother, Harry Kinney JR; great grandson, Klayton Tackett.

Billy is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Brenda Kinney; daughters, Connie Young and her husband, Darren, Alice Flannery and her husband, Billy; sons, Billy Vaughn Kinney, Barry Lee Kinney, Ronnie Allen, Brian Keith Allen and his wife, Amanda, Pete Allen and his wife, Carla, David Allen, Jonathan Allen, and Joshua Allen and his wife, Faith; brother, Syd Kinney and his wife, Zonie; and a loving host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Billy was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Billy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will accept friends at Thacker Memorial Funeral Home, Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM for visitation with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery in Pikeville, KY. Donnie Hall will officiate all services for Billy.
