Gary Isaac, age 81, of Belcher, KY., formerly of Flint, MI., passed from this life, October 5, 2020. Gary was born July 13, 1939, in Bevinsville, KY., to the late Oscar and Opal “Hall” Isaac.

Besides both parents, Gary is preceded in death by three sisters, Margie Johnson, Betty Holbrook, and Jennie Ward.
Gary is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Jennifer Isaac of Belcher, KY.; sons, Adam Isaac, Gary Isaac and his wife, Drema of Michigan; daughter, Pamela Hall of Winchester, KY.; brothers, Terry Isaac and his wife, Lorraine of Floyd County, KY., Basil Isaac and his wife, Shirley of Colorado; sisters, Patricia Burke and her husband, Luce of Floyd County, KY., Nina Howell of Floyd County, KY., Sharon Hoffman and her husband, Mike of Michigan; along with a host of friends and family.
Gary was steadfast in his faith and his desire to know more of God and bring others to God. Gary went on to receive multiples degrees to further his knowledge, he had a Bachelor of Science from Morehead then went on to receive a Master’s in Theology from Flint Bible College. His calling went further, so he preceded to get a Doctorate from Rocky Mount Bible College. Through his serving, he became a member of Flint Baptist Temple then later was a part of Evangelist of Pikeville Ministerial Association. Gary also had a passion for gardening and traveling. He could go anywhere and would not ever find himself lost. Gary also was a published author, teaching Theology and helping others in understanding the word of God.
Gary was a cherished husband, a caring father, and a treasured person. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family will accept friends at Thacker Memorial Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 7, 2020, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM with nightly services beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 11:00 AM with burial following at Annie E. Young Cemetery in Pikeville, KY. Brother Ralph Wallace and Brother Adam Isaac will officiate all services for Gary.
