Herschel W. Barker, 87, of Pikeville, Kentucky, formerly of Hiram, Georgia, returned to his heavenly home on Monday, December 30, 2019, after a long-illness. Herschel was born in Piedmont, Alabama on November 15, 1932 to his parents the late Reubin Phillip Barker and Ruby Brummit Barker. Herschel was a proud veteran who served in both the Army and Air Force branches of the military. Among other professions, he retired as a Field Engineer for MAI Systems Corporation, Atlanta, Georgia.
