CHARLES J.  COLE
Charles J. “Red” Cole, 78, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his residence in Pikeville, KY.
He was born April 25, 1940 in Pikeville, KY to the late Charlie & Francis (Barber) Cole.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlene Key & Edna Mae Maynard.
Red is survived by his nephew, Eddie Dean (Kathy) Cole & two great nephews, Eddie Dewayne Cole & Edward Eugene Cole; his wonderful church family & very Special Friends, Edward & Kathy Atkins, of Pikeville, KY & Kermit & Sandy Adkins.
Red was a faithful member & a deacon of the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
He was a beloved uncle and friend.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the J.U. Thacker Mausoleum on Annie E. Young Cemetery. Jimmy Jack Adkins will be officiating the service.
Arrangements are conducted by the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home of Pikeville, KY.
